McPherson's Toys
Entry into 2019 Science Fiction London's 48 hour film challenge and it went on to receive a special mention and has been viewed by over 84 thousand people. The challenge was to write and film a three to five minute story within 48 hours. To achieve this we used Adobe Character Studio and After Effects. Acting as Technical Director, I researched and worked on prototypes to find if such a thing was possible. I was responsible for the character designs, digital puppet builds and visual effects. Animation duties were split between Austin Charlesworth and myself. Gareth Sleightholme was the set and ship designer. Andrew Segal was responsible for the title sequence. The music was jointly created by Gareth Sleighthome and Alex Weinle. Written and directed by Austin Charlesworth. Vocals were provided by Pippa A Stephens and Andrew Ford. Additional thanks to Holly Barrat and Sarah Regan-Sleighthome.
